Backyard Sensory Scavenger Hunt, Creative Family Idea Box Day #10

This scavenger hunt is for kids who like to touch, smell, taste, make noise, turn things over, run around and explore!  Spring is the perfect time to get outside and experience the beauty of nature with all five senses.  So let’s do this together!

This scavenger hunt is for kids who love to feel, smell, taste, make noise, turn things over, and experience life with all five senses.

Click the image and print out a copy for yourself and each child.  There are no rules as to how this goes–you can work together as a team, or you can see who can find the most things on the list in 10 minutes, or you can see who can complete the list first.  You can have them collect the items (leaving out the spider web, the worm and the bug, maybe?), or you can have them photograph the items, or they can show you items as they find them.

This is just a fun, simple way to get outside and find wonder.  I hope you enjoy this day of Creative Family Idea Box!

See you tomorrow!  We look forward to making something everyday with you.

Love,
Mackenzie
